frequently asked questions

Is the water in the Soča River cold?

Yes, the Soča River is an alpine river, and the water stays cold throughout the year, usually between 6°C and 12°C (43°F to 54°F). However, this is not a problem because we provide high-quality neoprene wetsuits, neoprene shoes, and safety equipment to keep you warm and comfortable during the rafting trip.

Even in summer, the wetsuit ensures that you can fully enjoy the experience safely.

Do rafting trips run in bad weather or rain?

Yes, rafting trips run in most weather conditions, including rain. Rain does not make rafting dangerous and can actually make the experience more exciting. You will already be wearing a wetsuit, so staying wet is not an issue.

However, safety is always our top priority. We do not operate rafting trips during extreme weather conditions such as heavy storms, thunderstorms, or unsafe river conditions. In such cases, trips may be delayed or rescheduled.
